About

Passionate transportation planner and human rights advocate based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I was born in Toronto, Ontario, to South Korean immigrant parents and grew up during the 1990s in what was then known as the City of Scarborough. Throughout my childhood, I’ve always had an interest in the built environment and public transit, and even drew pictures of TTC trolleybuses in my daily journals in the first grade.

Since earning my Master of Environmental Studies (MES) in Planning in 2014, I have contributed to numerous transportation and land use planning projects and served on the TTC Advisory Committee for Accessible Transit (ACAT). Please see my Linkedin Profile for more details on my professional background. With this blog, I hope to spark discussion on urban development and transportation planning through a social equity lens.
